Centre For Women’s Condensed Course
Introduction:
The Centre for Women’s Condensed Course caters to the girls hailing from weaker sections of society paper writing service as well as those who paper writing service uk had dropped out of the educational mainstream but these desire to improve their educational qualifications. The centre provides coaching facilities to the girl students from class VIII to XII . The students of classes X and XII are made to appear at the Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations of Jamia Millia Islamia as private candidates. Besides, these students are also provided opportunities for acquiring various skills and self – confidence by exposing them to extracurricular activities.
The admission process starts in April and students are given admissions almost in all classes from VIII to XII on the basis of merit and written test.
Incentive:
As a measure for encouraging students to improve their performance in Jamia Board examination both at secondary and Senior Secondary level, the General Secretary , Dr. Zakir Husain Memorial Welfare Society , has instituted two Gold Medals namely Abdul Jabbar memorial and Anand Kumari Mubiya Gold Medal for classes X and XII respectively for those who top.
Co-curricular Activities.
Get Together Function
At the beginning of academic Session a beautiful Get Together function of the old students and new students is organized in the month of September to welcome to new students and to apprise them of the aims and objectives of Dr. Zakir Husain Memorial Welfare Society and also about the Centre for Women’s Condensed Course which caters to the needs of those who could for one reason or the other not take admission in regular courses. They are further told that the centre they have joined recently provides them quality education and gives them opportunity to show their talents through various extra curricular activities of the centre throughout the year. The sole purpose of organizing the Get Together in which the new students are also active participants, is to infuse in them the sense of understanding, mutual respect, self confidence and a feeling of being at ease without hesitation which are key elements of learning.
One Day School
In our Endeavour to bring self-confidence in our students and give them first hand information about the functioning of the school, the centre organized ‘One Day School’ in the month of September. The students of the school are given total control of the school and they perform their duties from Safai Karamchari to the Director of the Centre. Participation in Taleemi Mela
The Centre for Women’s Condensed Course performs extraordinary service is educating girls hailing from weaker sections of society. At the same time takes care of their all round development. Our students are always at the fore front in very activity of Jamia where they are given chance to be available. During Jamia’s Foundation Day celebration our students often play a very remarkable role in enhancing the glory of Taleemi Mela by setting up ‘Craft and Garments Sale “ stalls and offering catering services for one week.
Opportunities, participation in different competitions, organized during Jamia’s Foundation Day Celebration, Flag hoisting ceremonies on 15 August and 26 January and NCC etc ensure that our students get proper exposure. They have treasures of hidden talents which we want to expose by providing them opportunities that we can do.
Picnic
School picnic has always been taken as a part of school curriculum. To expose our students to the outside world and also them with environment and nature, the school organized picnic for the students.
Farewell Party
At the end of the school academic session a grand and gorgeous Farewell party is organized to bid “good bye” to the outgoing students of Classes X and XII.
The Condensed Course for Women is a project of Dr. Zakir Husain Memorial welfare Society. It receives active support from the Outreach Programme, Jamia Millia Islamia. Prof. Mukesh Ranjan the Co-ordinator of the Outreach Programme has proved to be huge source of support for the Centre for Women’s Condensed Course.
